About Jalen Snipes

Jalen Snipes was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina, and obtained a degree in Communications and an emphasis in Journalism from East Carolina University. Since he was a child, Jalen has made it his mission to inspire others and pursue every endeavor in life like it's his last.

 

He developed this mentality in the aftermath of a near-death experience as a child, in which lightning struck and burnt down his home. Watching his parents, neighbors, and family friends work tirelessly to restore his home created a sense of community, pride, and a strong work ethic that he carries with him today.

 

Working throughout college, Jalen perfected his marketing, interpersonal and multitasking skills. He developed a passion for touring prospective buyers' in their search for apartment units as a leasing agent. This passion led Jalen to generate over a million dollars in sales for his company, as well as leading a team of his own directly after graduation.

 

This lit a fire within him for pursuing a career in real estate. Jalen was also he was scouted as a model while in school, which gave him the chance to travel frequently and become the face for multiple commercial powerhouse brands. This unique and important skill set that allowed him to succeed as a model translates well in the industry of real estate.

 

In his downtime, Jalen loves writing, reading, and working out with friends, as well as training and competing in marathons and ultramarathon events across the state!

 

He believes that Raleigh has so much to offer to everyone— no matter what your interests, hobbies, and passions are. Being able to intertwine his love for the city and his drive to help others is what led him to become a real estate agent.
